We take the protection of your personal data and privacy very seriously. We treat personal data that is collected when you visit our website confidentially and process it in accordance with the regulations set forth by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - in Germany the so-called "DSGVO"). This data protection statement does not apply to third party websites to which there are links on this website.

When you visit our website, general information is collected automatically. This information (server-logfiles) includes, for example, the type of browser and operating system you are using, the domain name of your internet service provider and other related data. This pertains solely to information that does not allow you to be personally identified. This information is technically necessary, in order for us to correctly provide you with the content you request from the website and is necessarily involved when you use the internet.

We hereby point out that all data transfers via the internet (for example, when communicating via email) may be subject to security breaches. The continuous protection of your data from third party attacks is not possible.

The responsible party in terms of data protection is:

Contact

Personal data is collected by us whenever you choose to share information with us, such as when you contact us. Personal data refers to any information with which you can be personally identified. Of course, the personal data you provided to us in this manner will only be used for the purpose intended by you when you contacted us.

You provide such data on an expressly voluntary basis and with your explicit permission. Insofar as this data pertains to communication channels (for example, an e-mail address or telephone number), you also - by providing this data - consent to us contacting you by means of the respective communication channel, in order for us to process your request.

The customer data will be deleted once the contract has been completed or the business relationship has ended. Legal and contractual document retention requirements shall remain unaffected.

You have the right to revoke your Declaration of Consent at any time. In such case, please contact the abovementioned responsible party.

Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not share your data with third parties unless we are legally obligated to do so, or it is necessary for the processing of your order/contract. Insofar as third-party contractors are provided such data, we have taken legal, technical and organisational measures, including regular controls, to ensure that such third parties uphold the data protection regulations.

Your Rights

Within the framework of the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, you retain the right to request information about any stored personal data, the data sources and recipients - including the use and processing of this data - at any time and free of charge. You also have the right to request the rectification, blockage and deletion of this data. If you have any questions regarding this matter or your personal data, you may contact us at any time via e-mail. Please use the e-mail address shown above.

You have the right to request for the data we have automatically stored for processing, as permitted by you, and data necessary in order for us to process your request, to be sent directly to you or a third party in a standardised machine-readable format. Insofar as you request the direct transfer of such data to another responsible party, we will do so whenever technically possible.

To exercise these rights, you may contact the abovementioned responsible party at any time.

In the event of a violation of the data protection regulations, the affected party concerned has the right to submit a complaint to the competent regulatory authority. The competent regulatory authority for issues concerning data protection is the State Office for Data Protection located in the state in which our business is registered. A list of the Data Protection Officials and their contact information can be found under the following link: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Cookies

Some of our website pages use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain computer viruses. Cookies are used to make our website and the services we provide more user-friendly and effective, as well as more secure. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your computer and used by your browser.

Most of the cookies we utilize are so-called "session cookies". These are deleted as soon as you end your visit to our website. Other cookies remain on your device and are saved until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your computer next time you visit our website.

We never share any data collected by us that allows you to be personally identified with third parties without your consent.

You can adjust the settings in your browser software to inform you whenever cookies are downloaded. They also allow you to limit permissions so they are only downloaded for individual sessions, or generally rejected, as well as select the automatic deletion of cookies once you close the browser. Please use your browser's help function to find out how to adjust these settings. If you deactivate cookies, the performance of the website's functions may be compromised.

Server Logfiles

The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server logfiles, which your browser automatically shares with us. This includes the type and version of your browser, the operating systems that you are using, the referrer URL, the host name of the accessing computer, the date and time of the particular access, and the IP address. This data is never merged with other data sources. The basis for data processing is stated in Art. 6 Paragraph 1 (f) of the EU GDPR, which permits the processing of data related to fulfilling a contract or taking pre-contractual measures.

SSL and TLS Encryption

This website has implemented SSL or TLS encryption for security purposes and to protect confidential information - such as orders or enquiries - that is transmitted to us as the website managers. You can identify an encrypted connection by the fact that "http://" will change to "https://" in your browser's address bar and that a padlock icon also appears there.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Google Web Fonts

In order to ensure the consistent use of typefaces, this website uses so-called web fonts that are provided by Google. Whenever you load a page, your browser will download the necessary web fonts to your browser's cache, so that texts and typefaces are displayed correctly.

For this purpose, your browser must contact Google's servers. As such, Google obtains knowledge regarding the fact that your IP address contacted our website. Google Web Fonts are implemented in order to ensure the consistent and appealing display of our online services. This represents a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 Paragraph 1 (f) of the EU GDPR.

If your browser does not support web fonts, your computer will substitute them with another standard font.

Further information regarding Google Web Fonts can be found at

https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's Data Protection Provisions: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

We reserve the right to change and update this Data Protection Statement from time to time, in order to ensure that it meets the current legal requirements and/or to reflect changes in the services we provide.

Should parts of, or individual phrases in this text no longer comply, or not comply fully with the current laws, the validity of the remaining content and parts of this document shall remain unaffected.
